U.S. launches new robot packaging machine

Reducing costs is the most important reason why the market is rushing toward robots, but most small and medium-sized enterprises cannot invest a lot of money to buy expensive robots and automation equipment. According to a survey by Frost & Sullivan, it is precisely this type of company that needs maximum production flexibility to respond quickly to changing customer needs.

American robot manufacturer Schneider Packaging Equipment has launched a new Robox Vi packaging machine, which brings happiness to the automation of packaging companies. This set of equipment can identify, take and determine the direction of randomly placed bottles or other items placed on the conveyor belt in a certain order, and then packaged directly into the carton.

According to the company, the robot uses the FAUNC robot and is equipped with smart visual recognition technology used in carton packaging machines. With this technology integration, the robot can pack directly without actually discharging the product in actual packaging.

In addition, Robot Vi robots can also direct blow molded products into the quality inspection area before packing. It is said that this robot can also perform different tasks in the same factory. In terms of packaging, up to 60 bottles can be packaged per minute.
