Special vehicle new product: Shenyang develops intelligent fire engine

The nation’s first intelligent remote-controlled main battle fire engine was successfully developed by the Shenyang Fire Brigade for over a year. Its advent, will enable China's fire-fighting vehicles to achieve unmanned driving in the fire, is a major technological innovation of traditional fire engines.
The intelligent fire engine body is 7.2 meters long, 2.4 meters wide, 2.5 meters high, and has a maximum carrying capacity of 7 tons, a water carrying capacity of 4 tons, and a carrying capacity of 1 ton of foam. Water guns flow 100 liters per second with a range of 80 meters. It is able to move forward and back freely when there is no driver, and it can spray water on the way.
According to the research and development personnel, this smart remote-controlled fire engine is self-developed with an investment of 1.5 million yuan. The car's driving control has reached the auto ignition, flameout, automatic clutch, automatic addition and subtraction of the throttle, automatic steering, braking and lighting.
The car can be automatically remotely controlled and can be driven manually. The vehicle is equipped with high-power long-range water cannons and wireless transmission camera systems. The car is equipped with 3 cameras, which can record the external scenes of the fire scene, the road surface conditions of the fire scene and the shots of the artillery, which is convenient for the commander to operate the direction of the vehicle and adjust the position of the water gun shot. The operator only needs to hold a book-size controller to allow the vehicle to ride freely within 500 meters.
Intelligent remote control fire trucks can be used to fight special fires, such as malignant petroleum, chemicals, poisonous and harmful liquid gas, and chemical dangerous goods, which are difficult, dangerous, and inaccessible to fire fighters. The smart remote-controlled fire truck is still the first vehicle in China, and it is also rare in developed countries.
