When the rubber roller is installed, the shaft head and the bearing must ensure a certain accuracy and cleanliness. They should be handled lightly and should not collide with the shaft head and the rubber layer, so as to avoid damage to the roller body, bending and damage to the rubber layer.

2. Lubrication

The rubber roller shaft head and bearing should always maintain effective lubrication. If the lubrication is poor, it will cause the abrasion of the rubber roller shaft head and bearing, and the gap will increase, which will cause uneven printing ink. At the same time, the printing bar marks may also be caused by bad conditions such as bounce and slip of the rubber roller. If there is no effective lubrication for a long time of continuous operation, it will also cause heat generation of the bearing and the shaft core, causing the two rubber surfaces of the rubber roller to be thermally expanded and abraded, so that the two rubber surfaces will have pitting, glue loss, and cracking.

3. Commissioning

The pressure between the rubber roller and the rubber roller and the printing plate should be adjusted according to the elasticity and hardness of the rubber and its role in the printing process. Generally, a feeler gauge of O.15 ~ O.20mm is used (the feeler gauge should be lubricated to avoid damage Rubber surface), the radial contact pressure of the rubber roller must be uniform. Otherwise, long-term operation will cause the rubber roller at the end with higher pressure to produce numbness, falling off, cracking, opening and other phenomena.

Second, use and maintenance

1. Before printing

Check whether there is foreign matter between the rollers, whether the rubber rollers are intact and whether the pressure between the rollers is uniform, confirm that they are normal, and print after cleaning.

2. In printing

The rubber roller should keep a good contact state during operation, and the force should be even and consistent. Regardless of the width of the printed product, the entire rubber surface of the rubber roller should be lubricated with ink; depending on the amount of ink accumulated between the rubber rollers, the amount of ink should be adjusted in time to ensure printing quality.

Under the premise of ensuring printing speed, in order to prevent the ink from drying too fast, the viscosity of the rubber roller is reduced, and the surface is crusted, the amount of dry oil should be controlled for the ink that needs to be added with dry oil to prevent the running of the rubber roller Uneven ink and uneven ink transmission.

3. After printing

It is necessary to disengage the roller from the roller and the roller from the printing plate in time, remove the load pressure, and prevent the rubber surface from being deformed by static pressure. The residual ink on the surface of the rubber roller should be cleaned in time to prevent ink sticks, ink films, ink feces and dirt from floating on the rubber surface (especially the ink sticks on both ends of the nylon roller). , Severe slag will appear on the surface.

4. Rubber roller cleaning

The rubber roller must be cleaned with a special cleaning agent before and after printing to keep the surface of the rubber roller clean and ready for use.

If the cleaning is not timely, the ink will adhere to the micropores through the villiform micropores on the surface of the rubber roller, and the paper wool and dirt will adhere to the surface of the rubber roller. If the parking time is too long, the ink film will cause the contact surface of the two rollers to stick, and the rubber surface will be torn when driving again, so that the rubber roller is scrapped.

If the cleaning is not in place, enamelization will occur, resulting in reduced ink affinity and ink transfer, and even deinking. Glazing improves the surface hardness of the rubber roller and reduces its elasticity. At the same time, it accelerates the abrasion of the rubber roller, causing pitting and cracking on the rubber surface, causing drossing and affecting the printing quality.

Note: Glazing refers to the phenomenon that the surface of the rubber roller is hardened to a mirror shape.

5. Requirements for cleaning agents

â‘ Not flammable, safe and reliable, and no pollution to the environment.

â‘¡It has good washing ability to ink.

â‘¢ No corrosion to the rubber roller and no deformation to the rubber surface.

3. Storage and maintenance

1. Storage environment

â‘ During transportation and storage, the rubber roller should avoid direct sunlight, rain and snow, and prohibit touching with acids, alkalis, oils and organic solvents, etc., and 2m away from the heat source.

②The rubber roller should be stored in a warehouse with a temperature of 10 ~ 35 ℃ and a relative humidity of 50 ~ 80%.

If the temperature is too high or too low, the rubber surface will be aged, cracked, hardened, and inelastic, resulting in non-wear resistance.

Excessive humidity will cause the roller core to absorb moisture and rust.

â‘¢ Use thick paper and black plastic cloth to cover the roller and other light-proof measures. Do not place it under strong light and ultraviolet light, otherwise it will cause aging, discoloration and cracking of the rubber surface, reducing the service life of the rubber roller and affecting printing. Quality.

2. Storage method

When storing the rubber roller, it is necessary to support the shaft to store it. It is strictly forbidden to squeeze and stack it. The distance between the rollers should not be less than 5mm.

3. Matters needing attention

â‘  When moving, the shaft must be lifted and suspended to prevent the rubber surface from knocking, bumping, or scratching.

â‘¡The new roller is temporarily unused. Please do not remove the wrapping paper. The wrapping paper can play a protective role.

â‘¢ Rubber rollers stored beyond the standard period should be checked on the rubber rollers before use before use.

Special Note:

1. During the printing process, if the printing format is less than the length of the rubber surface, there may be no ink or ink accumulation at both ends of the rubber roller. If there is no ink, it will cause dry grinding at both ends and damage the rubber surface, resulting in the phenomenon of dross In the operation, use the ink to keep the two ends of the rubber surface lubricated. If ink accumulates at both ends, it should be cleaned in time when stopping, otherwise it will dry to form a hard ink stick, and the rolling of the hard ink stick during operation will destroy the rubber surface, produce pitted surface and drop residue.

2. It is best to use a special cleaning agent to clean the rubber roller. If there is no condition, it can be cleaned with 90 # gasoline, but it can only be cleaned with a soft cloth dipped in gasoline. Do not leave the rubber roller in gasoline for a long time, otherwise it will damage the rubber. The roller is corroded, the gasoline will evaporate in a short time, and there is no great damage to the rubber surface.

3. The UV ink rubber roller must use "UV ink" special cleaning agent.

4. The alcohol dampening roller must use the special cleaning agent for alcohol dampening roller.

Alcohol fountain solution produced by regular manufacturers should be selected. If you make your own "soft water" and maintain an appropriate PH value, it is generally appropriate to control it between 4.5 and 6, and it should not exceed the standard, so as not to affect the life of the rubber roller.
