Issues to be considered before printing in wireless perfect binding

Wireless perfect binding is subject to mechanical limitations of commonly used models in the process, so it has special requirements for pre-press. Then when designing before printing, the following issues should be considered:
(1) Because the wireless binding process requires milling back, so when designing the layout of the book, you need to add the milling back amount (generally 2mm) to the finished size in the inner text and insets. The ring lining can not add the milling back amount. And indent the finished product size 2mm at the stitching, the outer cut size should be:
Outer cutting size of wireless perfect binding = (finished product size width-book block size width-2mm) / 2.

(2) Since the width of the cover opening line is generally 7mm, the left and right positions of the core of the second cover (ie the title page) and the insert should be centered around the left and right after the order is reduced by 7mm.
(3) For bound bound books with internal texts, the graphic texts should be overlapped by 2mm in the finished size, plus 2mm milling back tobacco packaging, a total of 4mm. The graphics of cover two or cover three and the cover of the second cover or the text should overlap 5mm in the finished size to ensure that the bound book is complete and accurate when the book is opened.
(4) According to the requirements of product binding sequence, binding method and binding machinery, the plate should be designed reasonably. For the same book, if you need to arrange large and small post printing at the same time, manroland, the penultimate and fourth post positions of the thick book are arranged for small post printing, the two ends are arranged for large post printing, and the sticky pages are arranged for small post printing. Waste and easy to detect more posts and less posts in time.
(5) The cover should be at least 5mm larger than the length of the book block, to prevent the short cover and long book block from bearing the printing material, causing the glue to stick to the cover and causing a lot of downtime problems.
(6) 3mm cutting amount should be released in the hemorrhage chart, so as to avoid the white edges caused by the skewed cutting.
(7) For double products, the cutting amount of the rule head should be set to 4mm, the cutting amount of the upper and lower joints should be set to 10mm, the cutting amount of the non-rule head should be set to 3mm, and the milling back should be added with 2mm milling back the amount.
(8) If you need to set up a post, you should design a small post to fit inside a large post.
(9) During imposition or production, fold marks should be set on the outer folds of the head and the back of the book, so as to check more posts, fewer posts and wrong posts.
