[Zhang Ziwei]: Because in general, interior design work is quite independent, but generally in Taiwan or Shanghai, it is very likely that everyone has their own days, it is difficult to get everyone together. The reason for this time in Greater China is because we each have their own fields, but we have a lot of valuable experience that we can share with each other, so we will have such an association. [Reporter]: Is this event an activity organized by you, or is it true that such a group of designers really want to come to the mainland for development?


[Zhang Ziwei]: In fact, the development of the mainland is an idea that everyone will have, just saying how to develop here. Designers who used to come early may have a day, but they are all alone. However, some design environments have gradually matured. Now, if designers who come in again need to use single-handedness, this paragraph has already passed. It is. We now hope to see together, we will do things together, probably this is the model. The idea of ​​everyone is that we hope that through such a group, let everyone come together, companies in need, they also have a peer window and pipeline that can be connected with us. This time I was invited, and all of us came together with great enthusiasm.

[Reporter]: I have benefited from the teacher’s forum in China today. What is your feeling?

[Zhang Ziwei]: Mr. Huang is very experienced in the design industry in Taiwan. As early as in our student days, Mr. Huang was already very famous. He was very early in Shanghai. We have also heard several speeches from him, including in Taiwan. Speeches and lectures, we also have participation, we have great confidence in him, because this market, this environment, whether in Taiwan or in Shanghai, I think the level he sees will be far more than we want to know. [Reporter]: Back to the theme of our interior design festival, design is to lead the industry, creative creation and life. As a Taiwanese designer, how do you interpret the theme of this design festival?

[Zhang Ziwei]: The building itself is a locomotive industry, but in terms of soft and hard, the building is like a hardware. The interior design is like a ladder. With a hardware appearance, you need to have a structure. How to package it, how to create it, the designer actually played such a very important role. In the early days, people had a thatched house to live in. It was very satisfying to shelter from the wind. When you need to improve your life, you will undoubtedly think about how to make it more comfortable after I have a house. In fact, sit on the bench. Comfortable, why do you have a sofa now, this is an evolution. In the process of evolution, interior design plays a very important role, not just to make everyone comfortable, how to have a sense of beauty in the comfort, this is what interior design should do.


[Reporter]: I would like to ask, your opinion on the industrialization of design, because this is the design to lead the industry, creative creation and life, but I personally understand that the design is very artistic, the industry is very market, it may be designed The division is not willing to cater to the market. There is a contradiction in this.


[Zhang Ziwei]: This is not contradictory. I mentioned in the forum this morning that artisans, designers, artists, craftsmen, teachers, and families are different in my understanding. The work of artisans is to take his The craftsmanship is so skillful that the work that the designer has given him can be implemented in a very authentic way. The designer has something in his head. He may not be as good as craftsmanship. He can make the design so delicate and perfect, but the designer has a creative idea and his unique idea of ​​beauty. It is the relationship between the two men that the craftsman can reach the standard he wants. The artist is just like what you just said. He may reach a certain level. His things become what I like. He doesn't care about the market environment. But the designers are different. The designers designed all the owners to ask him. He will deal with the main space of the industry, not the space that the designer wants. When we are designing, we have to empty ourselves a lot of times. After we empty ourselves, we can bear the main business that we helped him. In fact, the designer does not understand it. He should be able to understand more. What kind of beauty and function should be created in the current environment of this person. If there is beauty and function, he can truly integrate with the industry. This is probably the case.


[Reporter]: Why did you choose to come to Shanghai?


[Zhang Ziwei]: Most of us will be in Beijing, Harbin, Hainan Island, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangdong. In fact, everyone has been involved in it. Shanghai is chosen because Shanghai is a place where world culture is integrated throughout the historical evolution. In this way, in fact, he wants all the people who have an idea of ​​art and beauty to be willing to make a creation. It is the best place, which is why most of them choose Shanghai.


[Reporter]: Because the design festival is in conjunction with the exhibition, I saw the exhibition yesterday and asked a lot of brand owners. They said that the product design is very weak in the mainland. The designers here have a very weak voice. They told me that they have this product. It is original and released abroad. They will ask if this work is Italian. It is not considered to be the work of domestic designers. It is such a situation.

Because this time the theme is creative creation and life, let you evaluate it. From the perspective of Taiwan, look at the design of the mainland. Do you think we have more original designs? Has the design reached the level of creativity? Still, a lot of the styles of copying abroad and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are the main ones. What is your feeling?


[Zhang Ziwei]: I feel that we have to be separated, whether it is a yellow person or a white person. Because we are all people at the time of activities, our activities are similar. Whether it is a designer on the Shanghai side or a Taiwanese designer, we are actually going abroad. If you ask this question from abroad today, is it Italian design? I feel that I will be happy first, at least not too bad, to be confident. I think that we are poor in confidence, nothing else. People's activity patterns are the same. The so-called ergonomic principle is the same, so today, sitting on a chair does not deliberately sit on a corner, because people always have to sit on top of each other, at least one face. But the rest of the design is like invention, and he invented it. In fact, there is a brand name problem behind it. Taiwan is like Shanghai. We have a lot of inventions now, but when these inventions are not yet in the air, it is difficult for you to call the brand, but these are the processes. .


Of course, some designs are not so mature. In the process of not being mature enough, we will slowly improve it. Everyone is the same. I think the reason why our Taiwanese designers are very popular here is that we have been in contact early, so our minds have been trained earlier, and we have come along.
