Experimental process of tower biological filter
The structure of the biological filter is mainly composed of three parts: water distributor, filter bed and drainage system according to the flow sequence. It goes without saying that the water is continuously and evenly sprayed on the surface of the filter bed through the water distributor, and the sewage is leached downward in the form of water droplets or in the form of a film under the gravity. Finally, the sewage reaches the drainage system and flows out of the filter. When sewage flows through the filter bed, pollutants and bacteria attach to the surface of the filter material, and microorganisms multiply on the surface of the filter material. Form a biofilm. Organic pollutants in sewage are adsorbed and degraded by microorganisms in the biofilm, thereby purifying the sewage.
