Huanghua Chenmi can be converted into a non-polluting wood adhesive

Nanchang University has recently successfully developed a new type of formaldehyde-free wood adhesive production technology that can convert yellow rice, metamorphic early rice, rice straw, and bamboo vine into a non-polluting wood adhesive.

This technology uses the original key technology - the rapid liquefaction of biomass, to liquefy yellow rice metamorphosed early rice, rice straw, and bamboo larvae at high temperature and liquefaction agent water-cooling reflux temperature into highly active biological non-alcoholic compounds. The rate is close to 100%, and then a new type of non-polluting wood adhesive is developed using bio-based non-alcohol as a basic raw material and a multi-organic acid as a cross-linking agent.

The inspection by the authoritative department showed that the wood adhesive produced by this technology is free of formaldehyde and free phenol, its bonding strength meets the requirements of Type II plywood, and its performance is the same as that of phenolic resin. Its price has also reached the market acceptable level, and there is still a large Lower the space.

The technology aims to solve the problems of deep processing and conversion such as yellow rice, rice straw, and bamboo stalks, so that biomass resources such as Huanghua Chenmi become renewable new industrial raw materials. Therefore, the implementation of this project will greatly promote the industrialization of agricultural production and upgrade the technology level of our township industry.
