The new JOLT Battery Bottle is exclusive to Rexam and can only be produced using Rexam's Monster cans. The package was first produced and printed on Rexam's high-speed canning line, which was then converted into a re-sealable container using Cap Can technology by attaching a tank bottom and a seal to the tank. This tank bottom and seal was developed by the Dayton Systems Group (DSG) Group (Miamisburg, Ohio). DSG has developed the design principle of this patented can cap, including the molding process and equipment technology for manufacturing the cap closure assembly. ARCO Aluminum is the only supplier of aluminum coils for the production of the domes and decorative caps of the Battery Bottle. Jolt's finished bottles were shipped to Pri-Pak, where the bottles were filled with Coke products. Pri-Pak is an independent beverage cooperative filler located in Lawrenceburg. Rexam and Pri-Pak have developed a unique and flexible filling process for this proprietary package. Wet Planet also partnered with Rexam's Graphic Art and the Printing Plate Operation in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, to set tolerances for color and pattern on the JOLT Battery Bottle so that the mark can be perfectly reproduced on this package. Rexam has its own integrated graphic arts and plate operations department and has a complete pre-production line.
