U.S. portable automatic heating containers attract market attention

The United States recently introduced a self-heating portable container that has received market attention. This new product, which costs $200 million from OnTech, received more than 20 million orders before it was put on the market.

The main structure of the container is a container and a reaction device in two parts. The container is a hollow cone that is used to hold the beverage, and on the outside is a layer of lime coating, and the reaction device heats the beverage in the container by reacting the water with the heating agent. The package can be heated to 145 degrees Fahrenheit (62 degrees Celsius) in a matter of minutes.

The container has a high-performance insulation system and the heat insulation effect can reach 30 minutes. The portable features will make it competitive in the future market. According to an agreement reached between Sonoco and onTech LLC, Sonoco plans to open a factory in Midwest, USA for mass production. The first batch of products is scheduled to be available in North America at the end of this year.
