New technology of canned beer preservation in the UK

Recently, British Bass Brewing Company invented a method to maintain the taste of fresh beer. In the past, the only way to add yeast to packaged beer for the second brewing was to put the beer in a glass bottle. The yeast in the bottle accumulates together to form a thin layer that will adhere to the glass. But the headache is that such thin layers cannot be bonded to metal cans. Therefore, if the same approach is used in canned beer, then the customer will pour cloudy beer from the can.
Now, Bath has successfully added live yeast in canned beer. Their secret is to add a piece of polystyrene to the bottom of the jar, and the yeast layer can be firmly attached to the sheet. Even if the beer jar is shaken and air impacted, the yeast layer will not break and detach.
