Faerch Plast's New Food Packaging Receives European Patent

[Chinese Packaging News] Plastic packaging manufacturer Faerch Plast is currently obtaining a European patent for its Mapet II, a recyclable packaging material for meat, poultry and fish.

The material develops state-of-the-art sealed packaging specifically for fresh meat, poultry and fish, allowing consumers to eliminate the risk of leakage or potential contamination during transport. This material is made from amorphous polyethylene terephthalate.

Mapet II Food Tray

Faerch Plast added a small amount of special adhesive to each Mapet II tray to replace the original PE layer to ensure its tightness. The adhesive is also approved for direct contact with food.
