Royal Society of British Chemicals reports on new achievements of Wuhan University's security printing ink

[Chinese Packaging Network News] Recently, the British Royal Society of Chemistry "Journal of Materials Chemistry C" reported Wuhan University Printing and Packaging Department Wu Wei, Deputy Research Fellow Group in the field of anti-counterfeit ink research results.

The research work was funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Wuhan University’s independent research project. It was completed by the 2015 graduate student Yao Wei. JMCC searches for an area journal for SCI.

Wu Wei's research group used large-scale synthetic up-conversion luminescent materials NaYF4: Yb3, Tm3/Er3/Eu3, and screen-printed it onto plain paper, RMB and transparent PET to study its anti-counterfeiting performance.

Anti-counterfeiting inks are inks with anti-counterfeiting properties, which are used to print visible or invisible marks, facilitating verification and prevention of counterfeiting. Anti-counterfeiting ink is an extremely important area of ​​modern anti-counterfeiting technology. It has a wide range of applications and involves multiple disciplines.
