Vertigo Games' Arizona Sunshine will officially land on PSVR this month. This first-person shooter has been greatly updated because Vertigo Games has adapted the original wheel-play experience into a free-roaming zombie wasteland experience. As for the PSVR version, the studio promises that the game will be consistent with the PC version.
Arizona Sunshine supports single-player mode, multiplayer gameplay and teaming mode of up to 4 players. Since landing on the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, Vertigo Games has been a huge success. They hope to replicate the success of the PC platform on PSVR and bring support for PlayStation Aim controllers for PS players.
There are some exceptions to the PS4 version of Arizona Sunshine, such as Vertigo Games adding contact windows that allow users to grab items and open doors. But the studio said that the visual quality in the PS4 Pro version is the same as the PS version.
Richard Stitselaar, co-founder and general manager of Vertigo Games, said in an interview: "The gameplay between the PC version and the PlayStation version is the same, the only difference is the Aim controller." Arizona Sunshine has been optimized for the latest PSVR Aim controllers and has added 11 new weapons. Since the game was originally designed around a dual weapon, the Aim controller mode improves the effectiveness of holding a single weapon, thus maintaining a difficult balance.
Arizona Sunshine will be officially launched on June 27th, and the game is compatible with the DualShock 4 controller, PlayStation Move and PlayStation Aim gun-type peripherals.
