3, indentation line irregular

The reason for this failure is:

(1) The groove width of the indentation mold is not suitable, and the groove width of the indentation mold is re-selected according to the above method.

(2) The seams on the die cutter plate are too wide. The indentation line twists under the pressure of the die-cut indentation. The exclusion method is to replace the die plate and use a qualified die-cutting indentation cutter plate.

4, when folding the folder, the cardboard crease at the crevice

When the folder is folded, for example, the outside of the cardboard indentation line is cracked. The reason is that the indentation line is too deep or the width of the indentation mold is not enough; if the inside of the cardboard is cracked, the pressure of the die-cut indentation is too large and the paper fiber is broken. The solution is to reduce the pressure on the die-cutting machine and use a slightly lower indentation line. Or widen the indentation line according to the thickness of the cardboard.

5, cardboard cutting board when die cutting

When die-cutting, cardboard is also known as “burn-in”. The reason for this failure is:

(1) The hardness of the over-rubber or rubber strip pasted around the die cutter is small, causing insufficient resilience. According to the distribution of die cutters, different hardness suitable rubber strips can be reasonably selected;

(2) The edge of the steel blade is not sharp and the paper thickness is too large, causing the knife to stick when cutting or cutting. The solution is to replace the die cutter.

6, die-cutting

The result of die-cutting is mainly related to the plate making process and the pop-up tape (or sponge). The causes of the failure are as follows:

(1) Die-cutting points are small, with few points. If the shape of the work is complex or there are a lot of jobs, and the die-cut points are small and the points are small, it is easy to cause die-cutting. The solution is to increase the number of connected points appropriately. In addition, when making a plate, try to keep the length of the print consistent with the direction of the paper.

(2) The hardness of the release paper sponge sticked on the die plate is small. If the sponge is too soft, the paper cannot be smoothly removed from the die cutter or indentation line, resulting in a loose plate. The solution is to replace it with a high-quality sponge with a good elasticity.

7. Excess paper hair and paper dust generated during die cutting work

There are several reasons for paper and paper dust:

(1) The cutting edge is not sharp. The reason is that the quality of die-cutting steel cutters is poor; the choice of die-cutting steel cutters is unreasonable. The exclusion method is based on the different materials of the die-cut cardboard, selecting different quality die cutters to improve the die-cutting adaptability.

(2) The cutting edge of the die-cutting steel blade is seriously worn. Frequently inspect the cutting edge and wear of the steel knife. Replace the die cutting steel knife after wear.

(3) The choice or installation of die-cutting steel blades and sponge tape is not standardized. Because the sponge strip should have enough hardness to compress the paper, the die cutter can cut the paper smoothly, and different hardness should be used for different papers. The installation position of the sponge strip should be at least 1mm from both sides of the die-cutting blade, and the distance should not be too small. If the distance is large, the sponge strips on both sides of the die cutter can only expand away from the die cutter after being pressed. At this point, the paper is not completely cut by the die cutter. It is broken by the sponge strips, which will cause fluffing and paper dust. In addition, the amount, hardness, and height of the sponge glue are on the entire template. Equilibrium distribution should be performed at various locations. Throw kappa on both sides of the balance knife.
